eOn Communications Corp. reported a net loss of $944,000 for the third quarter compared with net income of $82,000 last year.
The developer of voice, e-mail and Web-based communications reported revenue of $2.7 million for the quarter ended April 30, down from $4.8 million last year.
“The decrease in revenues from the previous year quarter is entirely due to delays in orders for our eQueue product,” said David Lee, CEO of the Atlanta firm in a statement. “As stated before, with a six to nine month sales cycle for the eQueue, these delays can be material and can affect our reported quarterly results.”
