DraftWorldwide Wins $10 Million Symbol Technology Account

Symbol Technologies Inc., has chosen DraftWorldwide to run a $10 million integrated marketing program to increase its brand awareness.

The account winner was announced last week.

Symbol, a business-to-business manufacturer of scanning devices and wireless products, picked DraftWorldwide’s New York office to develop direct marketing, Web marketing and advertising programs.

The New York office of Golin/Harris International, New York, was chosen to handle the public relations part of the campaign.

The other finalists for the campaign were the teams of DDB Worldwide and Rapp Collins, working with PR firm Porter Novelli; andDWP//Bates working with PR firm Alexander Ogilvy.

Holtsville, NY-based Symbol serves a number of sectors, including retail, manufacturing, healthcare, education and government.
