Doubletree Hotels is once again offering kids’ premiums to guest with children who visit the chains 150 properties in the U.S. and Canada through Labor Day.
Continuing its sports-themed focus, the chain is giving kids aged three to 12 a variety of summer travel essentials in its latest kidsCarepaks. This year’s premiums include a sling backpack, a soccer hacky sack, a flying Frisbee, a pack of crayons and activity book filled with Olympic Games trivia and word searches and a deck of playing cards.
The giveaway plays up Doubletree Hotels’ sponsorship of the U.S. Olympic Team, which runs through 2012, Mary E. Parks, vice president of marketing for Doubletree Hotels, said. The chain is part of the Hilton Family of Hotels.
“It’s a great way of giving the welcome to our youngest guests,” Parks said of the program, which has run for the last six years. “It makes a big impression on kids, and we want people to have a good experience on us.”
Several thousand premium packages will be offered to guest upon check-in, Parks said. Hotel signage supports the offer.
The kidCarepaks will be offered through Sept. 1 or until supplies last. Online materials and PR support. Doubletree handles in-house. Cohen & Wolfe handles PR.
