The Direct Marketing Association has introduced a new Certificate in Direct and Interactive Marketing program.
The program consists of two required courses — Direct Marketing Institute and Database Marketing — and a choice of two electives in categories such as e-mail marketing, statistics, math and finance, business-to-business, creative strategy and winning direct mail. Courses can be spread out over an 18-month period following the completion of the first semester.
According to the DMA, the program is geared towards both newcomers and experienced professionals. Holders of the certificate will be eligible to participate in an exclusive online discussion group where they can continue their education and networking among their peer alumni.
“This certificate program will allow industry professionals to learn from and interact with a prominent faculty of internationally respected direct and interactive marketers,” said H. Robert Wientzen, president and CEO of the DMA in a statement.
The DMA is now accepting applications for the 2003-2004 academic year. Additional information and application requests can be obtained by contacting the DMA’s certificate program administrator at 212.768.7277, ext.1539 or [email protected].
