Divers Direct, a SCUBA diving products cataloger and online marketer, has acquired Chapel Hill, NC-based Performance Diver, reportedly the nation’s number-two SCUBA diving catalog online marketer, for an undisclosed sum.
The combined catalogs will now mail to more than 1.5 million names per year.
“We are excited about this acquisition of Performance Diver,” said Divers Direct president Kevin Senecal, in a statement. “The combined catalogs and customer lists will enable us to offer dive enthusiasts the most comprehensive selection of products and travel services available anywhere.”
Divers Direct is based in Deerfield Beach, FL.
