Del Monte Consolidates Work with Catapult and Draftfcb

Del Monte Foods will consolidate all of its consumer promotion and shopper marketing work under two agencies of record.

Catapult Action Biased Markting has been named as Del Monte’s consumer promotions and shopper marketing agency of record for its full portfolio of consumer products brands, including Del Monte, College Inn, Contadina and S&W.

First work is expected to break early next year, Paul Kramer, CEO of Catapult said.

Draftfcb Chicago will be the consumer promotions and shopper marketing agency of record for Del Monte Foods’ portfolio of pet products brands, including Meow Mix, Kibbles ‘n Bits, 9Lives, Milk-Bone and Pup-Peroni.

Catapult Marketing was named Promo’s 2009 Agency of the Year. The agency ranked No. 32 at the Promo 100 with 2008 revenue of $28.5 million. Draftfcb ranked No. 1 with $591 million in 2008 revenue.
