Chick-fil-A Gives Away $26,000 in Free Food

Getting the word out about its new restaurant design, Chick-fil-A is giving away $26,000 in free food in 15 minutes to the first 100 adults in line.

The new design makes its debut in Silver Spring, MD, where the promotion will be held on Aug. 26. Each of the first 100 adults in line by 6 a.m. will receive a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A combo meals (52 coupons). Customers may line up 24 hours in advance at the new restaurant that will officially open for business at 6:30 a.m.

The new restaurant concept incorporates the existing Chick-fil-A restaurant interior design that includes warmer colors and wood accents. Several other upgrades have been made including a 24-foot-tall glass tower at the main entrance, upscale lighting and fixtures in the dining room and a curved seating counter. The upgrades continue into the restrooms, where full-length framed mirrors and artwork decorate the walls.

“We’re excited about this new design which will enable us to better meet our customers’ needs in areas where property is limited,” Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A, Inc. President Dan Cathy said in a statement. “This is an ideal market to introduce this concept based on the area demographics and our strong brand awareness.”
