Cendant’s hotel brands have launched a promotion featuring free meals, bonus loyalty club points and chances to win prizes to build awareness of phone and online hotel registration.
The summer promotion, entitled Stay More Get More will offer hotel guests free meals for their children at Denny’s restaurants, 500 bonus TripRewards loyalty club points and chances to win $50,000 toward a new car as well as a Garmin GPS navigation system and other prizes.
The promotion is offered to guests who stay at Ramada, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Super 8, Travelodge, Wingate Inn, AmeriHost Inn, Knights Inn and Villager hotels in the U.S. and Canada from now through September.
Cendant’s hotel brand Web sites offer Virtual Travel Guides that address traveler needs in four categories: Plan, Eat, Sleep and Play. The guides offer travel tips, help finding Denny’s restaurants, links to the best available rates and a search engine powered by Festivals.com that allows consumers to search for events throughout the summer.
To encourage guests to book rooms through each brand’s Web site or toll-free reservations line, Cendant has launched an enhanced best rate guarantee, Best Rate or Free, promising a free night to guests who book rooms directly on its brand Web sites or through its toll-free numbers but find a lower rate on a third-party site within 24 hours.
