Catapult Action-Biased Marketing has promoted Richard Magalik to executive vice president, creative director, a new position.
Magalik had been vice president, creative director.
Magalik’s previously was vice president creative director at Catapult. Prior to joining the agency, he worked for more than two years as vice president, creative director at Ryan iDirect, in Wilton, CT. He has also held creative positions at Euro RSCG Life Interaction, Euro RSCG Life, Groundswell Inc., iXL, and Modem Media.
“Rich’s wealth of interactive experience has been distinguished by several award-winning campaigns, including a PROMO Interactive ‘Best in Show’ in this year’s competition,” Catapult Interactive President, Bill Hewson said in a release. “His creative marketing concepts have been innovative as well as intuitive, and his interactive design has been consistently trend-setting, engaging and results-driven.”
In a related development, Catapult has promoted Wade Hunt to creative director of Catapult’s Nashville office. He will oversee creative work for Nashville clients, including Mars PetCare (Pedigree, Cesar, Whiskas, among others), Nutro Products, Greenies, and Sara Lee. Hunt joined Catapult from Sony BMG.
Catapult was named Promo’s 2009 Agency of the Year.
