Carlson Hotels Worldwide has named Baron Carr as vice president of brand marketing.
In his new role, Carr handles online and offline brand marketing in the Americas for the company’s brands, which includes Regent Hotels and Resorts, Radisson Hotels and Resorts, Park Plaza Hotels and Resorts, Country Inn and Suites By Carlson and Park Inn. He replaced Peter Goldreich, who left the post in 2007, the company said.
Carr reports to Fredrik Korallus, executive vice president of revenue generation for Carlson Hotels Worldwide. The post took effect last week.
Prior to joining Carlson Hotels, Carr worked as vice president of branding and multicultural; marketing for Allianz of America. He previously held a variety of positions at JP Morgan Chase.
