In anticipation of the Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed premiere, Burger King is launching a collection of five themed toys.
Each BK Scooby-Doo Get a Clue Toy includes a double-sided clue card. Using their clue cards and Scooby-Doo toys, kids can reveal the hidden images and puzzles. The promotion will be available in participating U.S. restaurants while supplies last.
Targeted advertising, in-restaurant merchandising, the Adventures newsletter, Kids Club birthday mailers and an interactive online component at www.bk.com support.
In other Scooby news, Los Angeles-based Equity Marketing, Inc. and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have renewed their global licensing agreement for the animated Great Dane and his mystery-solving friends.
Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, Equity Marketing will continue to serve as the Scooby-Doo master toy licensee with distribution rights in the U.S., Canada and other international regions.
The agreement also includes a master license from Warner Bros. to design, produce and market toys based on the upcoming live-action comedy adventure, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, which opens in theaters nationwide on March 26.
