Catalog company Blair Corp. has made a marketing alliance with Procter & Gamble’s Tide Fabric Care Network to leverage each brand to their respective customers.
Blair.com and Tide.com will send reciprocal e-mails. Blair’s wants to reach new consumers by promoting its apparel and home products in Tide’s Tips and Timesavers e-mail newsletter, which has more than 2 million subscribers. In return, Blair.com customers will be encouraged to interact with the Tide brand online at Tide.com.
Warren, PA-based Blair’s merchandise is apparel, bedding and window treatment. Fabric care is important to Blair’s customers, said a company statement.
The Tide Fabric Care Network is comprised of multiple fabric care brands, including Downy, Bounce, Dryel, Dreft, Febreze and Ivory Snow. The key elements in the Network are the Web site Tide.com and the monthly e-mail newsletter.
