Bath & Body Works CMO Resigns

Limited Brands’ Bath & Body Works chief marketing officer has resigned from her post, according to news reports.

Anne Martin-Vachon has filled the posted since Sept. 2006, Women’s Wear Daily reported this week. The position had been vacant since early 2005. The hiring came as part of Bath & Body’s effort to build traffic and sales through new marketing initiatives.

A search is underway to find a new chief marketing officer.

Before that, Martin-Vachon worked as vice president of global cosmetic and beauty marketing for Procter & Gamble. In that role, she oversaw global cosmetic brands and global marketing. During her more than 20 years at P&G, she worked on brands including, Cover Girl, Max Factor, Olay, Ivory and Crest.
