Aquafina Takes to the Skies and Streets for its Biggest Promo

Pepsi’s bottled water brand, Aquafina, last week set sail on its biggest promotion ever, Aquafina Pure Luck.

Aquafina spotter crews, in blimps and on the ground, will keep their eyes peeled as they travel to more than 60 cities, looking for consumers drinking Aquafina water or wearing Aquafina-branded merchandise (Xtra, May 13).

Consumers who get tapped by the spotter crews will have a chance to win one of 40,000 cash prizes, ranging from $2 bills to $10,000. Tracy Locke Partnership, Wilton, CT, handles.

Meanwhile, United Airlines has signed on as the official airline of the Pepsi Play for a Billion promotion.

United will provide air transportation for the 1,000 contestants travelling to the live-two hour TV show that culminates the promotion. The winner will also receive a three-person around-the-world travel package from United.
