Experiential marketing agency AMP Agency, has acquired Rock Coast Media, Inc., an interactive marketing agency focusing on search engine marketing and optimization and social media strategy.
Rock Coast Media’s two founders, president Stephen Anderson and vice president Joshua Pike have joined AMP in their current roles. The two will direct search engine optimization technology and marketing strategy for clients.
Rock Coast Media’s staff of 10, that had been based in Newburyport, MA, has joined AMP Agency’s Boston-based office. Anderson, who operated out of San Francisco, will remain there operating an AMP office, AMP spokesperson Jodi Smith said.
“As the digital space continues to evolve with new ways to reach and engage consumers, search in tandem with social media is proving increasingly important to the overall effectiveness of a marketing campaign” Anderson said in a release.
Rock Coast Media clients include Coldwell Banker Real Estate, Princess Cruises and Cunard Line.
In 2008, AMP Agency’s purchased Fulgent Media Group bringing in digital-focused media strategy and planning across emerging media platforms.
AMP Agency clients include Maybelline New York, US Cellular and Massport.
