Alterian has completed its acquisition of Mediasurface and gained additional analytical capabilities for Web sites and social networking media, in addition to other technical capabilities.
With the acquisition, Alterian has more than doubled its headcount and now has approximately 300 employees.
Alterian has to date specialized in data analysis software technology, while Mediasurface is a Web content management software company.
The acquisition brings together a mix of technology for analysis, content management and multichannel marketing, according to Alterian
