St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch will introduce a low-carbohydrate Michelob in September, backed by a national marketing campaign.
Michelob Ultra is currently testing in Baltimore, Chicago, Washington, DC, and Florida. The lager’s national debut will be supported by radio spots, outdoor and print ads, and in-store activities. The beer has just 2.9 grams of carbohydrates per 12-ounce serving.
