Zipatoni Continues to Rebuild Creative Ranks with New Hire

Zipatoni has hired Steve Klink as creative director in the agency’s Chicago office.

Klink has been handling freelance projects for Zipatoni Chicago for the past six months, joining the staff full time on March 1. He will work as the creative lead on the Visa domestic and International, eBay, Enzymatic Therapy and Dr. Pepper/Seven-Up business.

Prior to joining Zipatoni, Klink was an executive creative director at KK&A Integrated Retail Marketing in Chicago, where he built and established the creative and production departments.

The hiring is part of an effort to fill vacancies in the agency’s creative ranks.

At the end of last year, Zipatoni hired Ed Severini as VP-senior creative director. He is responsible for running the Zipatoni Chicago creative department, where his clients include Motorola, uni-ball, eBay, Maytag and AOL. Most recently, he worked at 141 Worldwide as VP-creative director, crafting promotions for such clients as Kellogg’s, 7 UP, Gambrinus, Stroh’s, and Brown & Williamson, as well as Suave, Degree and other Unilever brands. Severini started at the end of last year.
