Working Woman Magazine Debuts WorkingWoman.com

Working Woman magazine, New York, is starting up a site for women in business (www.WorkingWoman.com). Yesterday, the national magazine launched phase one of its site, targeting the community of 34 million career-committed women, said a company statement.

The site offers tools for entrepreneurial and professional women to search for jobs, start a company, conduct business and support human resources and marketing needs. The site will offer products and services through alliances with companies including Barnes & Noble.com, Business Filings, Broad Daylight, ELetter, FinanCenter.com, HotJobs.com, Investorama, Nolo.com, NowDocs, Palo Alto Software, ScreamingMedia and Stamps.com.

This fall, the site will introduce the Women’s Business Exchange, an e-marketplace to provide for women-owned enterprises to sell products and services online. It will also create a one-stop resource for corporate, institutional and government buyers that need to source women-owned businesses to fulfill contractual obligations.
