Darwin Digital, a digital marketing company of Saatchi & Saatchi, New York, has launched a media services division, Darwin Digital Media Services, and appointed Greg Smith to lead it with Jim Lorden. Smith has been with Darwin since it began in 1997; Lorden’s background includes NW Ayers and MediaVest, in addition to Saatchi & Saatchi.

IMall Inc., Santa Monica, CA, creators of a product-based search engine called Stuff.com, has signed an agreement with catalog shopping portal Catalog City to include over 600 catalog companies and add more than 100,000 new products into Stuff.com. The products from Catalog City companies will be available on Stuff.com in mid-May.

Lands’ End Inc., Dodgeville, WI, has hired Bill Bass as vice president of e-commerce. Bass had been with Forrester Research, Cambridge, MA.

Michael Loeb, president and CEO of subscription service NewSub Services Inc., has joined the board of directors of call center software maker WhiteCap Development Corp., Wakefield, MA.
