Online retailer Amazon.com, Seattle, WA, plans to offer thousands of Circuit City products on its Web site beginning in November. Customers that buy Circuit City will initially have to pick up their purchases at local stores. The companies hope to be able to deliver Circuit City products to customers sometime next year. Amazon will process the orders and Circuit City will handle fulfillment.
MemberWorks Inc., Stamford, CT, has created a consumer advisory board. The board is expected to help guide the company as it works to further improve marketing practices and customer service.
