ClientLogic Corp., an international provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) in the contact center and fulfillment industry, has opened a multi-channel customer contact center in Bangalore, India. Through a joint venture with ITC Infotech India Ltd. ClientLogic is extending its global presence and widening its leadership position in the BPO industry.
Blair Corp. has nominated Michael A. Schuler of Bradford, PA, for a position on the board of directors. Schuler’s nomination has been placed on the 2003 proxy for election by the shareholders at the corporation’s annual meeting on April 15, 2003. Schuler, 53, began his career as a CPA in public accounting for Pricewaterhouse Coopers. After four years with the firm, he embarked on a 23-year management career with Zippo Manufacturing Co. of Bradford, Pa., where he served as CFO for eight years and then as chairman, president and CEO for 15 years. Most recently, Schuler served as a member of the board of directors for National City Corp. from 1996 -2002; his roles included Audit Committee chairman and Public Policy Committee member. Schuler is currently president and CEO of Donerail Investments, Ltd., a private investment partnership.
