Shop At Home Trims Net Loss

Shop At Home Inc., Nashville, TN, trimmed its net loss from $13.5 million in fiscal 2000 to $10.2 million in the fiscal year ended June 30. But sales during the same period fell from $201.6 million to $177.6 million. The company attributed its falloff in revenue to a decline in sports memorabilia and collectable toy sales.

During the year just ended the company also had a one-time revenue boost of $48.9 million from the sale of its Houston television station in March.
