R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co., Chicago, has acquired Freight Systems Inc., a privately held print logistics company headquartered in Pico Rivera, CA.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
FSI and R.R. Donnelley Logistics Services have been business partners since 1996.
“Distribution costs and meeting targeted delivery windows are significant concerns for all of R.R. Donnelley’s customers, so our acquisition of FSI further expands DLS’ service offerings and enhances our industry-leading mail and newsstand distribution network,” John Campanelli, president of DLS, said in a statement.
