Teens now have a place to call their very own, thanks to a partnership between PepsiCo and General Growth Properties.
PepsiCo has teamed up with Chicago-based GGP to feature the Pepsi Zone, a lounge-like environment for teens, at three malls— Lakes Mall in Miami, FL, Northridge Fashion Center in Los Angeles and Spring Hill Mall in Chicago. The Pepsi Zone lounges opened on Saturday.
“The lounge gives teens a cool, fun, safe place to hang out with friends and allow us to strengthen our connection with them,” said PepsiCo VP-food service marketing and strategy Craig Coffey in a statement.
Each Pepsi Zone features couches, Xbox video games and a refreshment center with vending machines where teens can buy Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Aquafina and Tropicana juice drinks.
