Brodia, San Francisco, has acquired WishConnect, an online gift registry that covers a wide variety of occasions. WishConnect’s technology will be integrated into Brodia’s online shopping service and made available to Brodia customers early this year. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
WishConnect brings a user base to Brodia’s shopping service. Brodia also will work with WishConnect’s current merchant partners to generate customized offers for Brodia online shoppers, as well as merchant inclusion in Brodia’s comprehensive store guide, and other marketing initiatives. Currently, Brodia offers quick, easy access to more than 1,500 online merchants.
