AMP AGENCY: Boston, hired Gregg Arends as VP-group account director; he had been group account director for U.S. Marketing & Promotions, Los Angeles.

MARKETING DRIVE WORLDWIDE: has opened a Seattle office under VP-Managing Director Rip Warendorf, who had been running his own management consulting and sales representation business in Bellevue, WA.

DELTA AND MICHELIN: have launched a promotion that allows SkyMiles program members to earn miles when they purchase four Michelin tires. SkyMiles program members may earn 2,500 miles by purchasing a set of four Michelin passenger car or light truck tires at any Michelin retailer in the United States through Nov. 15.

ALAN TAYLOR COMMUNICATIONS: New York, named a six-member management team for the lifestyle and sports p.r. agency. Tony Signore becomes CEO-managing partner; the five other new managing partners are Bryan Harris, Mark Beal, John Liporace, Erin Weinberg and Bret Werner. CEO Alan Taylor and President Howard Dolgon remain as chairmen of the board and will oversee business development.

DVC WORLDWIDE: Morristown, NJ, assigned additional duties to Exec VP-Chief Marketing Officer Bill Donlin following the retirement of Jim Lustenader. Donlin now will oversee DVC’s Strategic Services department, including media planning.
