NBC.COM: is giving Scrubs fans a chance to be a part of the show under a new contest that asks viewers to choose the name and sex of Turk and Carla’s baby on the show. Starting Tuesday through May, viewers can submit their suggested baby name online to NBC.com/Scrubs. One winner will be randomly chosen to have a Scrubs character named after him or her; 10 runners-up will receive surprise Scrubs items. The contest ties in with Tuesday’s episode, in which Carla and Turk discover Carla has conceived. Scrubs airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC.

KFC: is out with a new contest that lets kids design homemade Mother’s Day cards for a chance to win $5,000. Kids six to 11 can enter the America’s Favorite Mother’s Day Card contest by downloading an entry form at KFC.com and mail in their submissions. The contest ends April 14. Consumers can vote for the favorite Mother’s Day card between April 24 and May 3. In addition to the cash prize, the top will receive a trip to NY and a “relief bucket” for Mom, which includes spa items, gift certificates for house cleaning services, $500 in KFC gift checks and $500 cash. CINGULAR WIRELESS: is offering ringtones of live performances from the hit FOX show American Idol within 24 hours of the show’s broadcast. Customers can buy ringtones of finalists’ performances from Tuesday’s show for $2.49 each, the company said. In previous seasons, customers could buy ringtones of the American Idol theme song and other songs featured on the show by the original artists.
