Market ahead of the pack

Finding new marketing strategies, ideas and offers will allow you stay ahead of the competition, grab your consumers attention, and in the end, give you a much bigger ROI.

With that said, how many of the strategies and offers that are doing extremely well today, were being utilized years or even months ago? If you are hearing or reading about a new strategy or offer that has been doing well, chances are, other marketers have heard about it as well. The marketers that created and then tested out the new strategy or offer are miles ahead of the rest. They have spent the time researching their consumers and testing different strategies to see what grabs the consumers’ attention the most.

Think about the first marketer that thought of creating a blog about Acai or even matching it up with another product to enhance the consumers wants or needs. They were willing to take a step into unknown territories to see how this type of marketing would perform. They were looking to find that one strategy that would put them ahead of their competition.

Furthermore, advertisers have also been making changes to their products, landing pages and cost to users to enhance their products. They work with their marketing arm, whether it be a Network or direct affiliates, to better optimize their campaigns. This might come in the form of a promo code to reduce the cost to the consumer or a new eye pleasing landing page. They may have also moved around the wording or pictures on their sites to increase the conversion rates of the offer. One thing is for sure, they are always looking for ways to gain more traffic and stay ahead of the competition.

Now, there are also marketers that have content with just following whatever is doing well at the time and will watch what their competitors are doing and just copy it. However, there are other marketers out there that are leading by example and will try out different offers, niches and strategies to see what might be the next “big” thing. They might hit a bump or two along the way, but in the long haul they will see the greatest return of them all. By being at the forefront, they will have minimal to no competition.

Every day something new is being tested or researched in this industry. That being said, which one is going to be the next big thing? Maybe it’s already has been looked at or even tested. Maybe it performed ok, but needs another test to take it over the top. Maybe the site, strategy or offer, needed a tweak or two to grab the consumers eye. You will never know unless you research and keep testing – after all, your competition is. What will you do?
