The addition of a concurrent show, New Media Marketing, helped push first two-day attendance of the International DM Fair to 9,734 registered visitors, compared to 8,540 in 1999.
Sue Baker, spokesperson for Reed Exhibition Co., said 8,448 visitors registered for IDMF, while 1,286 registered for NMM. Attendance was free for both shows, and one badge allowed visitors to crossover between events.
Combined, the two shows had 370 exhibitors. IDMF and NMM, which ended yesterday, will next year move from Wembley to the new ExCeL Centre in the Docklands area of London. They will be joined by two additional concurrent events operated by Reed, Marketing IT–Technology for Marketers and Telecommerce Expo.
