LeadsCon, a conference for all parties involved in the multifaceted world of lead generation, just finished its West Coast show in Las Vegas, which took place March 18-20. The first day of the event was dedicated to the Buyers Summit, offering a full plate of information exclusively for those in the business of buying and closing leads.
The first presentation on the agenda for the Buyers Summit was titled, “Does Facebook Advertising Work for Lead-Gen Buyers?” Nguyen Le, lead-gen project manager for DoublePositive, shared an in-depth look at how advertising options on the social network have progressed from being only mildly interesting to performance-based media buying to being a robust platform for direct-response activities. While Facebook’s ad products used to only focus on the top of the funnel, with a more open ecosystem that plays well with external data, the social network now hits each section of the funnel.
Here’s a look at the 10 most important slides from Le’s presentation:
Le noted that advertising on the biggest social network in the land is still raw and in its infancy. “You’re going to need a lot of help from your tech team,” he said, adding later that this tech support will be critical to success on Facebook.
