L.W. Robbins Associates Wins NEDMA Best of Show

L.W. Robbins Associates took best of show honors in the New England Direct Marketing Association’s Awards for Creative Excellence last week.

The agency won for the 2001 annual member mailing campaign for the American Bible Society. Creative director was Robert Cargill, copywriter, Pat Farley; art director and designer, Paula Brolin; photographer, Sandor Achs; production manager, Kevin Eagan; account executive/supervisor, Lynn Shapleigh and Kent Rohrbach; and client contact, Steve Smith.

Other first place winners included:

*One Guy and a Mac, agency; Webhannet River Boat Yard, client; consumer print lead generation and brand building categories and business-to-business print branding category.

*Epsilon, agency; KeyBank, client; key growth solution, campaign; consumer direct mail lead generation.

*Digitas, agency; GMC Commercial, client; “Walk the Talk” campaign; business-to-business lead generation print category.

*Arnold Direct/Arnold Worldwide, agency; JEA, client; campaign to promote new exhibit at Science/History Museum; traffic building integrated campaign category.

*Newport Creative Communications, agency; Joyce Meyer Ministries, client; campaign, India Appeal; integrated fundraising category.

Graphic Sales Products Inc. took top honors in the vendors and suppliers excellence category for their work on behalf of Metal Creative, ATG (Art Technology Group) and HP.

The awards were presented at The Roxy in Boston last Thursday.
