Foster & Gallagher, Peoria, IL, is considering the divestiture of the Children’s and Gift Groups, the company announced in a statement. These properties include five catalogs and their Web sites.
In other developments, the cataloger’s Peoria headquarters will now be the primary center for the company’s U.S. horticulture customer contact. It will also be the center of e-commerce and direct marketing.
Two business areas will be relocated to the Grand Rapids, MI, location. Those are the operations of Gurney’s Seed & Nursery Co., and the Peoria-based finance department, which will be consolidated with the company’s Grand Rapids location.
