An agreement will be signed next week for the management of Direct Media Inc., Greenwich, CT, to buy back the company from Acxiom Corp., sources said yesterday.
Lawyers from Little Rock, AK-based Acxiom are expected to meet with officials from Direct Media Tuesday to sign the agreement. Sources said the purchase is to include both the business-to-business and consumer divisions as well as the international and not-for-profit divisions.
Late last year, Dave Florence, chairman and founder of Direct Media, had signed a letter of internet for management to buy the company back. Acxiom acquired Direct Media in 1996.
