Ring! And now, the news. Fonpods Inc. and The Americast Network have announced a partnership to deliver local newspaper content via podcast on mobile phones. The Fonpods service allows users to access their audio content from a landline, mobile or VoIP phone. "Our publishing partners are faced each day with declining circulations and changing technology in their quest to remain the media hubs for their local communities," said Americast founder and CEO Patrick Scanlon. Exclusive and local audio content will be featured from Americast's network of over 40 independently owned newspapers in 21 states.

For a change, they want you to listen. The Suffolk County Psychological Association on Long Island is producing a series of podcasts with local members to educate the public on the field of mental health. "People are becoming more aware of the important roles that behavior, attitudes and emotions play in not only overcoming illness and solving problems, but also in maintaining a healthy lifestyle," said Dr. Peter S. The public will be invited to submit suggestions for shows and topics. The first episode, addressing the psychological and emotional issues associated with the holidays, was released last week. The podcasts are available at http://www.suffolkpsych.org.

Kids really looking for more Santa scoop can read St. Nick's blog at the site, watch reindeer and check out the North Pole weather report. The site was created by "Founding Elf" Anne Gaskell, mom to three Santa Believers,
