Yahoo Launches Intern Contest Tied to Apprentice Premiere

Yahoo is rolling out a new contest linked to the newest season of The Apprentice, giving viewers a chance to predict answers to upcoming shows for a chance to win prizes.

The contest, called The Intern, is a weekly game that viewers can play online at Apprentice.Yahoo.com. Each correct answer earns points for the player.

One top winner gets the chance to shadow the real-life apprentice from the show for two weeks at the Trump Organization.

The contest dovetails with the sixth season of The Apprentice, which premieres at 9:30 p.m. Jan. 7. During the reality show, contestants vie for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to work as the apprentice for real estate mogul Donald Trump.

Online materials support the contest. It runs through April 8.

Yahoo’s Apprentice site offers weekly Webisodes, unaired footage from the show, videos, photos and gossip.
