A McLean, VA, outfit said yesterday that it was launching a pilot marketing campaign designed to convert home-banking users into home bill payers.
Online Resources & Communication Corp., which provides electronic-commerce services to financial institutions, said the marketing program would include direct mail, telemarketing and bank-branch incentives. The marketing programs will be conducted by Online Resources on its financial-institution clients’ behalf.
Ron Bergamesca, Online Resources senior vice president for consumer marketing, said in a statement that the program was designed to help banks and credit unions use direct marketing concepts that they have often ignored.
