Twentieth Television Ups Rodriguez to Senior VP

Matthew Rodriguez has been promoted to senior VP-marketing and creative for Twentieth Television, effective immediately.

Under his new role, Rodriguez oversees all consumer and corporate marketing and promotional activities for Twentieth Television’s library of first-run and off-net programs. He reports to Twentieth Television President and COO Bob Cook at the company’s Los Angeles, Ca headquarters.

Rodriguez replaced Susan Kantor, who left last month to take a job at another company.

Rodriguez recently served as the company’s VP-on-air promotions, where he created all on-air marketing campaigns for broadcast, cable and radio for Twentieth Television products. He also created all sales presentations for the company’s programming. Rodriguez joined Twentieth Television in 1994 as a coordinator for on-air promotion before moving up the ranks.

Next season, Twentieth Television’s first-run line-up includes Desire, a new franchise of English-language telenovelas and a new court show strip Cristina’s Court, hosted by Cristina Perez. Off-net launches from the company include sitcoms Reba and Still Standing.
