Cable TV network The N is going high-tech with it research. The network is partnering with online-research firm OTX and mobile-community provider mbuzzy to form a new wireless research panel.
The panel, called Teens Everywhere, will let The N survey teens via cell phones, which allows for faster responses that online or phone surveys. The panel, which launches in January, will feature an online community for teens to chat and share content.
“Teens Everywhere will enable us to monitor and gather information from young people using their primary means of communication—cell phones,” said Radha Subramanyam, the VP of research and planning at The N, in a statement. “This process will allow us to communicate directly with our demo, whenever and wherever they are, to get their ‘life story’ in a way that is most endemic to them.”
The network will recruit panelists from The-N.com, Quizilla and from the mbuzzy community. Participants can access promotional content through a newly created social networking microsite via mbuzzy.
