Staples Inc., Westborough, MA, has named Jonathan Magasanik VP of merchandising for Staples.com, the company’s e-commerce division which was launched last fall.
Magasanik will be responsible for directing the strategy and execution of Staples.com’s merchandising efforts, including assortment planning, vendor management, pricing, replenishment and on-site advertising. He had most recently been the company’s director of merchandising for technology consumables.
Staples.com is Staples Inc.’s e-commerce business unit, which offers the home office and small business customer office supplies via the Internet.
