Reliant/QVC Form Product-Testing Agreement

Infomercial producer Reliant Interactive Media Corp. has entered into an agreement with home-shopping network QVC to propose, test and market its latest products on the air.

For QVC, the agreement provides access to “the electronic marketing acumen of Reliant’s Kevin and Tim Harrington,” according to a statement. The Harringtons have produced more than 200 infomercials with sales of more than $2 billion. Their finds have included Tony Little’s Ab Isolator, Regal Royal Diamond Cookware, the Flying Lure, the Food Saver Vacuum-Packed Food Sealer and Blue Coral’s Autofom Car Polish.

The products which will appear on QVC will also be available via the company’s Internet shopping site (http://www.iqvc.com).

“The opportunity to test products in a live, dedicated televised shopping environment to gauge how well they are going to perform in an infomercial environment is invaluable,” said Reliant CEO Kevin Harrington, in a statement.
