Qdoba Mexican Grill Taps Craven for Director of Marketing Post

Qdoba Mexican Grill has promoted David Craven to director of marketing.

In his new role, Craven oversees brand research and the development of a new brand positioning for Qdoba, which includes advertising, media and marketing communications. In addition, he supervises all advertising, media buys, field marketing and catering efforts. The post took effect May 26.

Craven replaced Kelly Green in the position.

Prior to that, he spent nearly three years as a manager of marketing, brand strategy, advertising and field marketing for Qdoba. Before that, he worked on the Qdoba brand for more than three years at the company’s ad agency of record, Morey Evans Advertising as an account supervisor. He also worked on other accounts, including AT&T Media Services, Vehix.com, Metro Brokers, Winter Park Ski Resort, netLibrary, OneMediaPlace, Salt Lake Tribune and Great American Tire.

The fast casual chain operates more than 400 restaurants in 39 states. Qdoba is a subsidiary of Jack in the Box Inc.
