Precis Smart Card Trims Second Quarter Loss

Precis Smart Card Systems, Inc., a loyalty card marketer based in Norman, OK, reported a net loss of $127,000 for the quarter ended June 30., a decrease from a loss of $227,298 or $0.19 per share for the same period in 1999.

Revenue for the quarter was 196,343, an increase over 176,798 or the same time in 1999.

The company plans to introduce its Instacard Emergency Card via direct mail and direct response television during the upcoming quarter. The card enables paramedics and emergency room personnel to instantly access medical information embedded on the card, without having the information stored on a database.
