Olde English Tattoos its Cans for Summer Promo

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Olde English, the malt liquor brand from Miller Brewing, is tattooing its cans as part of a summer campaign that salutes top tattoo artists.

Beginning this month, cans will feature a different design each month created by nationally renowned artist Marcus Suarez.

“Tattoos play an important role in our culture and our community, and the King of Ink program is our way of paying tribute to this important, beautiful art form, said Kevin Oglesby, Olde English brand manger, in a statement.

As part of the program, top tattoo artists will be crowned as King of Ink in New York, Chicago and Houston. The three will be given the opportunity to showcase their work online and at events in their home city.

A summer sweeps offers the first 50 winners the chance to have a tattoo from one of the artists. A grand-prize winner will receive a four-day trip for two to Las Vegas, with reservations at The Palms, some spending money and a tattoo at the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Co.

Players can enter by texting the word “kings” to short code OE800, via a toll free number or a mail in postcard.
