Marriott Keeps Guests in Shape With Scratch-Off Game

Marriott International is giving consumers a little incentive to tone up for the summer months through a new sweepstakes, which offers a grand-prize trip to a Marriott resort anywhere in the world.

Guests who make a reservation online at Marriott.com or Marriottfitness.com use their American Express card now through April 15 will be automatically entered into The Stay Trim On Travel Sweepstakes. To qualify, guests must stay overnight before April 30.

The sweepstakes offers a grand prize of an eight-day, seven-night trip for two to any Marriott resort worldwide complete with a spa treatment and $2,000 in cash. Lesser prizes include Precor treadmills, mountain bikes, Apple mini iPod and heart rate monitor watches. The sweepstakes touts 140 prizes valued close to $50,000 in all.

Participating hotels in the promotion include Marriott Hotels & Resorts, JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Renaissance Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn by Marriott, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott and TownePlace Suites by Marriott and Marriott Vacation Club.

The sweeps is open to consumers 18 and older and runs through April 15.

In addition, Marriott.com offers consumers a chance to win daily prizes through an online scratch-and-win game. The sweepstakes, which runs through April 15, offers more than 350 prizes, including a one-year gym membership to Marriott fitness gift packs. Internet materials support.

Marriott offers guests a variety of fitness options, including the new “Great Health—Fit for You” program, which offers complimentary use of in-room fitness equipment, 24-hour fitness centers and in-room fitness videos.
