Hewlett Packard, Worldata/WebConnect Offer Sponsorships

Hewlett Packard Co. and Worldata/WebConnect have formed an advertising partnership to offer sponsorships for Hewlett Packard’s opt-in e-mail newsletter, starting this summer.

Started two years ago, the HP Newsgram goes to 2.8 million Hewlett Packard customers who have opted in to receive it. The monthly HTML newsletter includes maintenance tips, feature stories and new product information.

This is the first time Hewlett Packard is accepting sponsorships for HP Newsgram, according to Jay Schwedelson, corporate Vice President of Boca Raton, FL-based Worldata/WebConnect.

The file includes both consumer and business-to-business names.

Both companies will protect the subscribers’ privacy, Schwedelson said.
