A Gap contest to find fresh young faces to be featured in in-store ads has drawn 500,000 votes and four winners.

The retailer named four winners in its national casting call for baby and kid models to represent babyGap and GapKids. They are Kendai, 3, of Dakota Dunes, SD; Parker, 2, of St. Cloud, MN; Samantha, 7, of Clayton, NC and Jaron, 7, of Beaumont, TX.

The winners were among 20 finalists selected based on consumer votes. Visitors to a Gap microsite in November and December chose their favorite photo. Votes were taken in two categories: ages 4 and under and ages 5 to 12.

More than 800,000 entries were submitted as part of the casting call contest http://promomagazine.com/contests/news/gap_casting_call_entries/index.html
(Promo Xtra, Nov. 26, 2007).

The winners were revealed Monday on the “Rachael Ray Show,” and will be featured in in-store ads nationwide through Feb. 13.

Eprize handled the contest administration and voting for Gap.
