Football and Beef Jerky Set Stage for Instant-Win Game

Posted on

Football is the name of the game for beef jerky maker Jack Link, who is out with an instant-win game that pits a jerky-crazed fan against a football player.

Players register for the game, Eat Big, Win Big, at EatBigWinBig.com, where the crazed fan tries to tackle the game player as he traverses through obstacles in an attempt to make it back to the living room, or a tailgate bus, depending on whether the player plays the “home” or “away” version of the game. If the crazed fan tackles the game player, the player gets the chance to throw beef jerky into the opponent’s mouth to fend him off and escape. Players earn points by gathering bags of Jack Link’s Beef Jerky throughout the game. Scores are tracked on a scoreboard and players can challenge friends to a game.

Players can play as often as they like and can enter a sweepstakes that gets the grand-prize winner one of two prizes—a “home” living room package, including a 46-inch HD TV, DirecTV service with a sports package, a home theater system, Sony PlayStation, a recliner and a $1,000 sports store gift card, or an “away” trip for two to attend the Super Bowl on Feb. 4, 2007 in Miami, including a four-night stay, parties, a barbeque grill and Coleman cooler.

The instant-win prizes include DirecTV service, portable TV’s, Sony PlayStations, Jack Link’s Beef Jerky, football jerseys, footballs and coolers. Jack Links in based in Minong, WI.
