Experian Launches Fraud Database

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Experian, Orange, CA, has created the National Fraud Database, file geared toward combating identity theft and corporate fraud loss.

Companies from a variety of industries contribute to the database by reporting their verified fraud records, and will be permitted access to the file. Member companies will be able to use the information in the database to validate data submitted by applicants.

For consumers, the database will provide a bulwark against identity theft by serving as a central contact point for reporting identity theft.
