Cheapflights.com Launches Special Deals for Baseball Fans

Cheapflights.com is playing off spring baseball fever to encourage fans to follow their home teams on road trips against key rivals in classic ballparks throughout the season.

Detroit Tigers fans can get a round trip fare of $180 to catch their team playing the Boston Red Sox in the Fenway Park home opener on April 8.

Chicago Cubs fans can see their team play the St. Louis Cardinals in early May on a round trip fare of $98.

Houston Astros fans can travel to Wrigley Field to see their team take on the Cubs in early April for a $198 round trip ticket. San Francisco Giants fans can visit Dodger Stadium on a round trip fare of $76. Baltimore Orioles fans can visit Yankee Stadium in May for a round trip fare of $150.

Other deals are available on the Cheapflights.com Web site, where the special baseball excursions are being promoted.

“It’s the start of the baseball season and fans are excited, so we offered these deals for trips to ballparks,” said Cheapflights spokeswoman Erin Mullaney.
